The Pittsburgh Steelers inked GM Omar Khan to a new 3-year contract, as he will have a deal until 2028.
“Khan and his team have done an excellent job in the past 3 seasons in constructing our roster through the National Football League Draft, trades, and free agency. We hope that we will be even more successful in the upcoming years and achieve even greater things with the team,” Pittsburgh president Art Rooney II shared today.
Omar, who is 48 years old, was appointed as the franchise GM in 2022, replacing Kevin Colbert, who stepped down after 12 years. This is his 25th campaign with the organization.

During 2025, Khan made a blockbuster deal for WR DK Metcalf and CB Jalen Ramsey, among others. During the offseason in the current campaign, he inked the legendary QB Aaron Rodgers and CB Darius Slay.
Pittsburgh also has 12 draft selections in the next year’s draft that will be hosted in their city.
