Pittsburgh's new boss would like the experienced quarterback to return.

A few minutes into his 1st press conference in the Mike McCarthy era of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the organization’s new boss had to speak about the biggest question ahead of the new season.

From a personal perspective, the media asked if the new head coach wants Aaron Rodgers to return to the team.

“I appreciate the way you asked that question,” McCarthy answered. “Without a doubt. I don’t see why I would not. I have spoken to Rodgers, and that’s all I can share at the moment. I already watched the matches of the Steelers in the past campaign, and I believe Aaron is a great asset for the franchise.”

Mike shared that the quarterback, like other veteran footballers, will need time to decide their future. McCarthy and Rodgers spent 13 seasons together with the Packers and triumphed with 1 Super Bowl title.

“I believe that is incredibly important,” the new Steelers managers claimed of footballers like Aaron taking a break. “The NFL is so emotional, and what they go through while playing. That’s why it’s so important the time away from the game.”
