Rookie C.J. Stroud threw for 5 TDs and a rookie-record 470 yards to help Houston Texans to a very dramatic 39-37 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
Baker Mayfield put Tampa Bay ahead with a 14-yard TD pass to Cade Otton with less than a minute left on the clock – only 46 seconds.

But the home organization drove down the field, and Stroud found Tank Dell in the end zone with 6 seconds left to give Houston the lead.
The rookie quarterback kneeled instead of attempting the 2-point conversion with kicker Kaʻimi Fairbairn out with an injury. The Bucs fumbled on the last attempt in the match to give the Texans the wild triumph.

Mayfield threw for 265 yards and 2 TDs, but Tampa Bay lost their 4th match in a row.
