Max Strus drilled a 59-footer as time expired, his 5th successful 3-pointer in the last 4 minutes of the match, to lift the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 121-119 triumph against the Dallas Mavericks.

After Dallas took the lead on P.J. Washington’s dunk with 3 seconds left in the game, the Cavs swiftly inbounded the ball to Evan Mobley, who passed back to Max – who notched 4 3s in a span of 67 seconds to keep his team in the match.

Strus shot from well beyond midcourt, officially listed at 59 feet. After the shot was successful, Max was tackled to the floor by teammates as nobody could believe what they saw.

“The most important thing is we have a teammate like Max Strus,” Cleveland center Jarrett Allen shared. “With him, we can achieve anything.”

Max is the 4th basketballer in the last 25 years to make 5 3s in the last 4 minutes of a match.

“We won thanks to Strus tonight,” Cavs manager J.B. Bickerstaff claimed. “That’s 1 of the things that we’re fortunate with this team, is on any given day, we’ve got a basketballer who can step up and decide the game in our favor.”
