The Phoenix Suns introduced new head coach Frank Vogel at a special press conference.
The 49-year-old specialist returns to NBA after one year hiatus, after being fired in the summer of 2022 by the Los Angeles Lakers, with which he won the title in the 2019/20 season.

“This is the beginning of a new era in Phoenix Suns basketball, and it’s going to be an exciting one. … When we get out there and play, we’re going to be scrappy as hell.” pic.twitter.com/y9jetvBwl7

“The first thing I can apply is trust. If the talent is there, you can activate the team and perform well in the League,” he said.
In Phoenix, Vogel will replace Monty Williams, who was fired last month after the team was eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals.
In three seasons as the Lakers’ head coach, Vogel had a 127-98 regular season record. Before that, he was also in charge of the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic.
