Iga Swiatek spent under an hour on the court to secure her 1st Wimbledon championship and 6th Grand Slam, trashing Amanda Anisimova from the USA 6-0, 6-0.
It was only the 3rd time that a player won 6-0, 6-0 in a women’s major final all time, and 1st since 1988, when Steffi Graf did it against Natasha Zvereva at Roland-Garros. The other time that this happened was over 100 years ago when Dorothea Lambert Chambers triumphed in such a way vs. Dora Boothby.
This has only happened once before 🤯⏬
Iga Swiatek has beaten Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 to win Wimbledon – it's just the second time in the Open Era that a Grand Slam singles final has finished in a 'double bagel'.

The Polish star is undefeated at the Grand Slam finals, as Swiatek has won all 6 of them. She won for the 1st time on grass as she also had 4 titles at the Roland-Garros and 1 at the US Open.
Iga becomes the 8th women’s player all-time and only active right now to triumph on all 3 surfaces.
The Polish won the 1st set after only 25 minutes, and all the spectators knew that this would not be a competitive match, but rather a lecture from Iga. Amanda wasn’t competitive at any moment and finished the final with 28 unforced errors.
