After Klopp’s side activated his 70 million pounds buying clause, the Hungarian came to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old midfielder is the 2nd new addition after the summer transfer window opening after Alexis Mac Allister landed from Brighton earlier as his buyout clause was also activated.
“The last 3 or 4 days seemed like a whole month; it was very difficult. But in the end, I’m here, excited, and can’t wait to play in the Premier League for Liverpool,” the Hungarian national team captain shared on social media.
“A historic club, great players, phenomenal head coach, everything is at the highest level. For me, it was perfect to progress by coming to the Reds. The supporters, Anfield, everything makes me happy.”
