One of the biggest mysteries of the Cincinnati Bengals’ offseason soon can be solved.
Cincinnati WR Tee Higgins expects playing for the Bengals in the upcoming campaign, he shared with the media at his youth football camp today. The wide receiver, who will begin his 5th season in the NFL, had requested a trade after the end of the past season after the team placed the organization tag on him.
“I think so,” Higgins shared about whether he will be on the team in the new campaign. “I’ve grown a love for Cincinnati that I didn’t think I would. I anticipate to play for this city in 2024.”
For the last 2 seasons, Tee and the Bengals have been unable to come to terms on a long-term deal. Despite that, the wide receiver will earn almost 22 million dollars in 2024 with the franchise tag as the footballer, and the franchise can negotiate a long-term contract until mid-July.
Tee Higgins spoke briefly at a camp.
