Buccaneers and Baker agreed on a new long-term deal.

The Tampa Bay Bucs and QB Baker Mayfield agreed to a 3-year contract for 100 million dollars in total half of them guaranteed.

Baker is set to make 30 million dollars in the upcoming season, 30 million dollars with 20 guaranteed in 2025 and 40 million dollars in the final year of his deal. There is 5 million per campaign in incentives, bringing up the maximum value of the deal to 115 million dollars.

The quarterback confirmed the agreement.

“I wanted an opportunity to return,” Baker shared. “I love boss Todd Bowles and the coaching team. I’m enjoying being here, and I want to win more in the playoffs.”

Mayfield inked with Tampa Bay on a 1-year contract worth 4 million dollars in March 2023, charging him with the huge task of replacing 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

Baker led the franchise to impressive road wins at the Minnesota Vikings in the opening week and at the New Orleans Saints a few weeks later. He also led Buccaneers to triumphs in 5 out of the last 6 matches and Tampa Bay made it to the playoffs.
