Jayson thinks that his ejection vs. the 76ers was soft.

Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum disagrees that what he did deserved to be punished with 2nd technical foul and an ejection in the final moments of the 3rd quarter of his franchise’s 125-119 win against the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden.

“I could not believe that I was ejected],” Tatum shared. “I mean, y’all watch the incident. You can’t be sure what I said, but I mean, I guess whatever I said doesn’t matter at all. I can’t agree with rules like this. One of the assistant officials who was there with me doesn’t agree. But it doesn’t really matter, I’m not mistaken? … When they decide to eject you, they just eject you.”

Tatum was thrown out with only 2 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter, when after being called for an offensive foul vs. Philly’s Robert Covington, officials reviewed it and upgraded it to a flagrant foul 1, and Jayson was thrown out for a 2nd technical foul.
