Manchester United once again played a rather bad game and lost 1:3 at home to Brighton. The Red Devils manager, Erik ten Hag, spoke about the loss and said that the change was entirely up to the team.
“We are not in crisis, but we are very disappointed and bored with ourselves. We must reverse this trend. That depends only on us. We started well today, we created chances that we should have taken better advantage of. I’m definitely worried, but I’m also looking at the way we’re playing. At the end of the day, it’s about character and now we have to see how strong we are, stick together,” said Ten Hag, who also briefly touched on the subject of Jaden Sancho’s removal from the first team.

“At the moment it’s not important because he can’t contribute anything to the team,” was the Dutchman’s terse comment.
