Erik ten Hag claimed that the Red Devils “should have done better” in the UCL this campaign, but thinks that despite the elimination from the European tournaments, that doesn’t mean their campaign is ruined.
The team from Old Trafford’s 1-0 defeat at home against Bayern Munich meant that the Premier League side would finish in the last place in Group A, and they would no longer play in Europe until the end of the season.

Despite that, Ten Hag is optimistic that his side still has plenty to achieve in the current campaign, as Man United was also eliminated from the Carabao Cup and is in the 6th place in the league.
“We are eliminated because we didn’t have enough points,” shared Ten Hag. “We are disappointed as a team. As a head coach, I am disappointed. We should have got better results. There are still many things to compete for, and now our main focus will be the EPL.”
