Erik ten Hag has pleaded senior figures at Manchester United to put their trust in him amidst rumors of players unrest at the club.
United succumbed to yet another Premier League loss to Newcastle on Saturday, their 10th defeat in 21 games this season overall. That has caused major scrutiny into the team with many players believed to be unhappy with the Dutchman.
Despite all that, ten Hag still believes he is the right man to get the Red Devils back on track.
“I know we will get there where we want to be,” he said. “Because? See my record. Everywhere where I was, every season, I got my targets.”
“If we stick together, stick to the plan and the strategy, we will get where we want to be.”
United face Chelsea on Wednesday night and are in desperate need of a win if they want to preserve their chances of challenging for a top 4 finish.
