Erik Ten Hag admitted that he doesn’t know whether Jadon Sancho will ever play for the club again.
The 23-year-old has been exiled at Old Trafford and is currently training alone after infamously lashing out at the team boss that he is being made a ‘scapegoat’ in the aftermath of the painful 3-1 loss to Arsenal.
Sancho was forced to delete the post on social media and apparently his issues with Ten Hag haven’t been solved.
Ten Hag: “My decision is based on Jadon Sancho is only based on principles”. ⚠️
“That’s not about me. This is in favour of the team, my decisions are always based on that”.
“My answer on Sancho after #AFC game? I am always honest”. pic.twitter.com/8TqQDcZ5zy

“Tomorrow we have a big game [at home to Brighton], we are going into a new block of games, many games in a condensed programme. I focus on that.” the Dutchman commented.
“He is not available, so in this moment, he is not important, because he can’t contribute.”
Ten Hag is no stranger to personal feuds with players as he infamously clashed out with Cristiano Ronaldo last year. The Portuguese was benched for a game against Spurs in October 2022 and like Sancho was made to train alone. He did return to the first team, but eventually got his contract exterminated in November after a controversial interview.
