The NFL franchise from Texas shared today that they signed Larry as they waived guard Keaton Sutherland in a reciprocal move.
The running back was a LA Chargers 6th-round selection in 2021, and he played 16 regular campaign matches in the past 2 years. However, Chargers decided to waive him a few days ago.
Rountree has 49 carries for 106 yards and a TD in the games that he played in the NFL. He appeared in the Chargers’ January playoff defeat vs. Jaguars but didn’t play with the ball.
Dameon Pierce is the 1st choice among running backs in Houston. Larry will compete with Devin Singletary, Mike Boone, Dare Ogunbowale, and Gerrid Dokes for minutes in the upcoming National Football League season.
