Shai-Gilgeous Alexander led the Oklahoma’s charge with 32 points, while Josh Giddey tied his season high with 31 points.
Luguentz Dort had 27 points and registered 8 out of 14 successful shots.
Brandon Ingram led the way for the Pelicans with 30 points, 20 of which came in the second half as the New Orleans team had a glimmer of a hope for a comeback.
The Thunder will play Timberwolves for the 8th seed in the playoffs as they remain the only team from the Western Conference with a losing record still in contention. The match will be played on Friday night.
