Tkachuk scores 3 goals, Panthers top Canadiens 5-2

Matthew Tkachuk had a hat trick for the 5^th time in his career and also gave 1 assist in the Florida Panther’s win against Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.

The 2^nd goal of Tkachuk meant that he was the 4^th player in history who would have 100 or more points in consecutive years after signing with a new team in the offseason. The other players in NHL history with that record are Wayne Gretzky, Jimmy Carson, and Mike Rogers.
