The clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox has been postponed because of enormous rain in Chicago, and the franchises will play 2 matches between them on Thursday.
The bout was delayed for just 1 hour before the franchises shared that it was canceled.
The final clash of the 3-game matchup was scheduled for 8.10 PM ET. Because of the unexpected circumstance, matches 2 and 3 of the series will start back-to-back as the beginning is at 5.10 PM ET.
Jose Berrios had to start for Toronto in Game 2 on Wednesday, while Lance Lynn was Chicago’s choice. Sources close to the Blue Jays shared that Berrios will start Game 2 on Thursday, while Yusei Kikuchi will play in Game 3, as the original pitching rotation will be preserved.
Blue Jays triumphed 4-3 in the 1st match on Tuesday.
Tonight’s game has been postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 5:10pm ET.
