Toronto FC draws 2:2 against Charlotte at BMO Field in Toronto.

Toronto had 2 goals lead at halftime at home against Charlotte but failed to win and draw for the 4th time in their last 5 games.

Everything started very well for the Canadian team when Federico Bernardeschi scored directly from a corner kick in the 6th minute. The wind gave the assist as Charlotte’s goalkeeper didn’t put players in the two corners.

Right before the end of the first half Michael Bradley notched a header in the top left corner after an assist from Brandon Servania to make it 2:0.

Charlotte FC started better in the 2nd half, and in the 51st minute, Benjamin Bender scored from the box to the left corner after an assist from Kamil Józwiak.

After his assist earlier in the 70th minute, Kamil Józwiak made it 2:2 after a shot near the top left post after an assist from Kerwin Vargas.

In the Eastern Conference, Toronto FC is 9th with 7 points from 6 games, while Charlotte FC is 14th with 5 points after 6 matches.
