The MLS side confirmed the transfer of the Polish forward.

Chicago Fire officially completed the inking of Robert Lewandowski after pursuing the striker for over 12 months.

Manager Gregg Berhalter claims the team remained patient through the procedure, with the former Barcelona goalscorer now expected to make his debut for his new side vs. ex-Bayern Munich teammate Thomas Muller.

The MLS side from Chicago has confirmed the signing of Robert. The head coach of the side shared that they began the procedure of convincing Lewandowski to come to the team at the beginning of 2025 and remained in close contact with him and his agents before the deal happened.

The ex-Barca striker arrives with impressive stats after scoring 120 goals in 193 games for the Catalan team and is expected to bring success in attack to the MLS club from the windy city.

Chicago Fire head coach added that they will be very careful with Lewandowski’s fitness before they use him in the league.
