They have reached to Treliving.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to hire an accomplished and seasoned general manager after Kyle Dubas left after the season ended.
The Canadian hockey franchise wants an experienced GM and already has a name in mind as they spoke with ex-Calgary Flames GM Brad Treliving.
“I want to remind you of last Friday, and I think Shanahan laid the foundations very well. At the top of his list is an accomplished GM,” TSN Hockey Insider Darren shared Tuesday on his show. “I’m almost certain they had contacted Brad Treliving, so the appointment is very likely. ”
Treliving left Calgary in April as his deal was set to expire at the end of June. He has been the general manager of the franchise since 2014.
