The veteran (37) was waived during the offseason by the New Orleans Pelicans after 2 years with the organization. Temple was signed by New Orleans via an ink-and-trade exchange that sent Lonzo Bulls to the Chicago Bulls two seasons ago.
He had 2 points per game in 25 matches in the past campaign.
Garrett played for 11 NBA franchises in his 13 campaigns, as he had stayed in Houston, Sacramento, San Antonio, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Washington, Memphis, LA Clippers, Brooklyn, Chicago, and New Orleans.
Garrett will begin his 14th National Basketball Association campaign in the new season in October, as he is expected to have more of a mentoring role in the Pelicans’ young core.
