Tottenham beat 9-man Liverpool in last minute in London

Tottenham defeated Liverpool 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the winning goal came in the last possible moment of the additional time when Joel Matip scored the ball into his own net.

The 1^st crucial moment in the match was in the 26^th minute when Curtis Jones received a direct red card and left Liverpool with 10 men.

Spurs captain Heung-Min Son scored in the 36^th minute after Richarlison’s assist gave his team the lead. However, even with the man down, the Reds tied the game before the end of the 1^st half when Cody Gakpo netted in the additional time, but the Dutch injured himself when he scored and was substituted.

Everything went smooth in the 2^nd half until the 70^th minute when Diogo Jota, who replaced the goalscorer Gakpo, received his 2^nd yellow card in that minute and left Liverpool with 9 men on the pitch against 11 from Tottenham.
