Tottenham are interested in Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, but only if they can land the Belgian on loan, claims journalist Marco Conterio.
According to the source, Spurs are unwilling to sign the 30-year-old Belgian permanently as they have decided to invest only in young players transfers. At the same time, the club is ready to get the striker for one season without the right to buy, trying to fill the void left after Harry Kane’s departure.
Tottenham’s main attacking targets are Folarin Balogun (Arsenal) and Jonathan David (Lille).
It was previously reported that Chelsea refused to trade Lukaku for Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic as the Bianconeri demanded a €40m fee for the Serbian.
Lukaku played for Inter last season on loan. The forward has 37 appearances and 14 goals in all competitions.
