The Three Lions head coach, Thomas Tuchel, confirmed that he will not take any risk with the health of Jude Bellingham and that the midfielder will not be on the pitch to face Japan in the upcoming friendly at Wembley.
Jude will conclude the current international break by not playing any match for England across 2 games. Bellingham was not part of the squad that finished 1-1 against Uruguay in the past week, and everyone thought that he would play at least against Japan. However, now it has become clear that the Los Blancos star will also miss this friendly.
Tuchel doesn’t want to take the slightest chance that playing Bellingham would mean a setback to his fitness, and that the priority for the German head coach is to be able to count on Jude during the summer during the World Cup.
Thomas shared with the media that Jude just got healthy after being sidelined with a muscle problem, and you never know what might happen after such an injury when the footballer returns.
