Ty Johnson, the backup running back of the New York Jets, will also be part of the roster next year.
Ty played all the franchise games in NFL last year – 17 and was part of 1/5 of the offensive snaps. He carried 30 times for 160 yards and scored 1 touchdown. Johnson also catches 12 passes for eighty-eight yards.
Johnson played a significant role in the special team and made almost half of the snaps.

The running back was drafted in 2019 by Detroit Lions in the 6th round but was waivered during the 2020 season. NY Jets signed him, and he has been on the roster since then. So far, his best year was 2021, when Johnson finished with 4 touchdowns.
