Miami Heat have upgraded Tyler Herro’s status for Game 5 as questionable, making strong indications that they plan to use him in the clash against Denver Nuggets.
Herro broke his hand in Game 1 of the quarterfinals against Milwaukee and hasn’t played a single match since then. He underwent a surgery and has done a significant on court work in order to get back to fitness as quickly as possible.
On Sunday, when Heat released their official injury report, he was listed out, but on Monday the team changed that to questionable.
“You have to go through stages,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra commented. “First part of it was just shooting, then movement, then contact versus coaches and then the next level of contact in practice.”
Miami face a vital Game 5 in their quest to stay in the match for as long as possible, while the Nuggets search for their first NBA title.
