USA demolishes Jordan to top group C in the World Cup

USA basketball national team got their third consecutive victory at the FIBA Basketball World Cup after defeating Jordan 110-62 (31-12, 31-21, 25-16, 23-13) in their final game of the first leg of the championship in Indonesia.

Thus, the USA finishes in the leading position in its group “C” with a 3-0 record, while Jordan finishes in the last fourth place with 0-3.

Greece and New Zealand are 1-1 each, and the two teams will fight for a place in the second stage in a direct clash today. Anthony Edwards led the Americans with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Bobby Portis scored 13 points off the bench, Jaron Jackson Jr. had 12 points and 6 rebounds and Jalen Brunson added 10 points.
