United States had no mercy tonight in Tampere and humiliated France after scoring them 9 goals for 60 minutes.
Cutter Gauthier (19), who plays for Boston College Eagles, scored 4 goals. Drew O’Connor (Pittsburgh Penguins) notched 2 goals for the victory. The other goals were netted by T.J. Tynan (Los Angeles Kings), Scott Perunovich (St. Louis Blues), and Rocco Grimaldi.

The USA hockey team is in 1st place in Group A after being undefeated after 6 matches, but 2nd placed Sweden still hasn’t lost a game so far as they are in the same group. The USA will play against Sweden on Tuesday in their final clash in the group.
