Utah QB Cam Rising, who led the program to straight Pac-12 titles before missing this campaign with a significant knee problem, is set to return to the Utes next year.
Rising, who started his college career in Texas, shared on social media today that he will play a 7th college campaign (6th at Utah). He suffered a torn ACL in his knee vs. Penn State in the Rose Bowl after leading the school to a 2nd Pac-12 title in a row last fall.

Utah anticipated that their quarterback would play in the current campaign, and Cam attended Pac-12 media day during the summer. Despite the QB being cleared for training, he never played an official match. In the past month, Rising admitted he tore his MCL and 2 other ligaments, in addition to the ACL, which meant that he most likely would not play this season. Near the end of October, the program shared that Rising would be shut down for the campaign.
