Max Verstappen has revealed that he will not change his Formula 1 team and will continue his journey with Red Bull in 2026, claiming that he needed to stop the speculations about his future.
The Dutch future was subject to a lot of speculations after Mercedes boss Toto Wolff shared that he would like to work with Verstappen.

Max’s deal with Red Bull would have allowed him to leave at the end of the current season if he were 4th or lower in the standings after the upcoming Hungarian GP.
Verstappen is currently 3rd in the Formula 1 rankings and has almost a 30-point lead ahead of 4th-placed George Russell, which means that he can’t be caught after Hungary.
Max inked his current deal with Red Bull 3 years ago, as the contract is until the end of the 2028 campaign. The news about the Dutch remaining in the team came after Red Bull principal Christian Horner was fired earlier this month after the British GP.
Verstappen shared that he is excited to work with Laurent Mekies, who replaced Horner.
