Verstappen was so far ahead of his opponents that he even stopped in the box for new tires as his team didn’t recommend him to do it, but despite that, Max did it and won an extra point for the fastest lap in the race.
Verstappen secured it with his last lap at the Austrian Grand Pix, finishing with a 5-second lead ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
The Dutch, who started from the 1st position, also won the sprint race yesterday.
Red Bull drivers are still unbeaten since the beginning of the season, as they triumphed in all 9 races.
Sergio Perez grabbed 3rd place after starting 15th, but Verstappen is far away at the top of the standings with 81 points lead.
