Vinicius Jr. has heaped praise on Sevilla for their swift reaction to yet another racist scandal, that has embroiled in Spain.
During the 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Sevilla a fan was spotted on camera making a racist gesture towards the Brazilian.
As a result the person in question was dismissed by the home team.
“A member of the public was identified, ejected from the stadium and handed over to legal authorities”. Sevilla said in a statement
“Furthermore, the internal disciplinary regulations will be strictly applied to him and he will be expelled as a member imminently.”

Vinicius reacted on social media, that the current incident is the 19th case of racist abuse in the country and the issue has still not been dealt with.
The 23-year-old, however, was quick to congratulate Sevilla for the actions.
“Congratulations to Sevilla for their quick positioning and punishment in yet another sad episode for Spanish football,” he wrote.
“The face of today’s racist is plastered on websites as on many other occasions. I hope the Spanish authorities do their part and change the legislation once and for all.”
