Alexander Volkanovski emerged victorious in his clash against Yair Rodriguez to clinch the featherweight title at UFC 290 in Las Vegas.
It was a one-sided contest all along as Volkanovski dominated Rodriguez all along as he ended the fight in round three with an avalanche of punches.
It was his fifth successful title defense ever since his crowning in 2019, when he won the belt off Max Halloway.

“I’ll be completely honest with you, I need a bit of surgery on my arm,” said Volkanovski.
“But I want that lightweight belt, I’m still coming for that. Ilia Topuria running his mouth too, I’m coming back, watch out.”
Volkanovski’s triumph further cements his place as the featherweight king many consider him to be.
