Wagner played one season with Los Angeles Rams, where he totaled 140 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits and two interceptions in 17 apperances. However the Los Angeles team were unable to repeat their success in the Super Bowl from the year prior and that may be the reason the 32-year is returning back to his former club.
Wagner spent 10 years in Seattle. During his spell, he became an eight-time Pro Bowler, a six-time All-Pro selection and won Super Bowl XLVIII. Wagner contributed 1,383 tackles, 78 QB hits, 68 tackles for loss and 11 interceptions in total.
Ranked No. 11 in Gregg Rosenthal’s Top 101 free agents list, Wagner’s presence back in Seattle is much needed after the team’s rushing defense ranked only 30th last season.
