The Golden State Warriors overcame one of their ugliest first halves of the season in an impressive 115-91 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Chase Center on Thursday night.

Fifth in the Western Conference, the Warriors seem to be hitting their stride at the perfect time with star Steph Curry expected to return from injury on Sunday.
Jordan Poole scored 22 of his game-high 34 points, including four three-pointers, in the quarter as the Warriors pulled away to record their fourth straight victory and 26th in 33 home games.
“We’re on a roll. We have some momentum going,” Poole said.
“You just have to create all the energy that you can and get the crowd involved. Especially against a really good team like that, you need every competitive advantage you can get.”
Klay Thompson added 19 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for the Warriors. Draymond Green came close to a triple-double for the second straight game with 11 points, nine rebounds and nine assists and Jonathan Kuminga scored 19 points off the bench.
Kawhi Leonard led four Clippers in double figures with 21 points and seven rebounds as Los Angeles shot only 36% from the field and missed 34 of 43 3-pointers (20.9%).
“It does feel like this is our best stretch because of what we’re doing defensively,” Clippers’ head coach Steve Kerr said.
“It’s significant in that we’ve held our serve here so far at home. Another big one tomorrow and hopefully Steph is coming back soon. So I think things are looking up.”
