According to West Conference assistant general manager, not even LeBron had the weight of the world on his shoulders upon his first match in the NBA.
“It wasn’t a concrete thing that he does; it was his overall skill set that made him so hyped,” the general manager shared. “The only thing that concerns me is that so many people talk about him — how can he live up to it? LeBron didn’t get this much hype before he debuted in the league. But Wembanyama seems built for it.”
Wembanyama is the favorite to be the rookie of the year. With his size and skill set, Victor is expected to make San Antonio Spurs a contender again.
