Brighton were the better team with superior possession and more clean chances, but the Seagulls were unable to convert their advantage.
West Ham’s staunch defense sees David Moyes’ team secure a clean sheet in 4 consecutive games.
The point moves Brighton up to 7th, a point ahead of Manchester United, while the Hammers are 3 points up the road.
The hosts had the best chance to score in a pretty uneventful first half, when James Ward-Prowse’s powerful volley was saved by the legs of Jason Steele.
Brighton continued their dominance in the second half, but Roberto de Zerbi’s men couldn’t find a way through a solid Hammers’ defense.
