The Blue Bombers had a phenomenal second half.

After a Calgary Stampeders’ turnover, Rasheed Bailey’s 9-yard TD catch broke a 3rd quarter tie and secured the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 24-11 win.

With the match evening 11-11 near the end of the 3rd quarter, Blue Bombers DB Demerio Houston intercepted Stampeders QB Jake Maier to secure his 3rd pick.

Winnipeg QB Zach Collaros then produced a 7-play, 54-yard drive as it ended with Rasheed’s touchdown with less than 2 minutes on the clock in the 3rd quarter, and the Blue Bombers got their 1st lead on Friday night.

After that, the Stampeders kicker blows a 47-yard FG attempt at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Winnipeg receiver Janarion Grant returned the ball for phenomenal 102 yards, and after that, Sergio Castillo scored a 17-yard FG for a 21-11 lead.

After the triumph, the Blue Bombers improved to a 4-1 record, while Calgary is now 1-3.
