Everything can end for Winnipeg Jets tonight if they lose vs. the Vegas Golden Knights. Nikolaj Ehlers skates with his teammates in the morning, but the forward is still uncertain if he will be able to play in the crucial clash.
Ehlers was on the ice for the last time on April 11 when he suffered an upper-body injury and still expects the medical team to allow him to play.
“I feel alright. I wasn’t good enough to participate in the first few matches. I know I said I was a few days ago, but I hadn’t really been on the ice yet — and if I take it to perspective now — that wouldn’t have finished well,” Nikolaj spoke to the press today.
The forward scored 12 goals and gave 26 assists in the 45 matches he played for the Jets this season.
