Winnipeg picks up Kniazev in deal with San Jose

Artemi appeared in 61 matches for the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda in the past campaign, earned 28 points for 5 goals and 23 assists, and had 32 penalty minutes.

The Russian made his debut in the National Hockey League for San Jose on November 4^th, 2021, in his only match in the league till today.

Kniazev was drafted in the 2^nd round with the 48^th overall pick in the 2019 NHL draft.

Gawanke appeared in 68 matches last campaign for Winnipeg’s affiliate Manitoba Moose, where he notched 20 goals and gave 25 assists.
