Barca's manager told the president.

Barcelona’s head coach Xavi shared that he spoke with President Joan Laporta that he would welcome Leo Messi back for the upcoming campaign, and he spoke with the Argentinian superstar about the potential return to the club.

Leo (35) left as a free agent the Catalan team 2 years ago and signed with PSG, but his contract will end at the end of the season.

“In terms of that, I’m the manager in Barca; there is no confusion that if Leo returns, he is going to be very useful,” Hernandez spoke to Diario Sport when asked if Messi playing again for Barcelona will be great.

“I have made that clear to Laporta. I don’t have any doubt because Messi is still one of the best players in the world; he still wants to win trophies and can lead.

Xavi shared that he doesn’t know where Messi will go in the summer, but he hopes this can be at Camp Nou.
