Trae scored 40 points to lead Atlanta to victory against Washington.

Trae Young finished with 40 points, 13 assists, and 3 boards, and for almost 40 minutes on the court, he secured the Atlanta Hawks’ 130-126 win against the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena.

Dejounte Murray helped Atlanta with 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists as Jalen Johnson added 24 points and 13 boards. Bogdanovic, Bey, and Capela each finished with double-digit points in the triumph at the USA capital.

Kyle Kuzma scored 38 points and had 8 boards and 5 assists, but his effort was not enough for the Wizards to win. Six more Washington players each notched at least 10 points as Deni Avdija had a double-double – 17 points and 12 rebounds, but the organization failed to avoid defeat at their arena.

Atlanta ended a 4-game losing streak with the victory today, while Washington is returning to the defeats after beating the Nets yesterday.
