Zach Edey used Twitter to tell his fans the news but will keep his college eligibility.

The star of Purdue Boilermakers averaged over 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 34 matches in his 1^st season with the team.

The basketball player from Toronto ended 6^th for the best scorers in NCAA and 2^nd for rebounds.

With him, Boilermakers secured the 1^st seed before March Madness but were shocked and eliminated in the 1^st round by Fairleigh Dickinson.

Zach Edey won 6 national Player of the Year trophies.
