Pittsburgh selected Zach Gentry in 2019 at the 5th round draft from Michigan. Steelers used a pick that they got in a trade for Antonio Brown. Since joining the franchise, Zach has played his whole career for them and will be part of them, at least for the foreseeable future.
Interestingly, he started playing football as a quarterback. Still, Jim Harbaugh saw his potential as a tight end in Michigan, and that’s the position we saw him play throughout his NFL career.
Gentry started 13 games for the Steelers last season but took part in all of them and finished with 132 yards from nineteen passes.
