Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine is set to extend his time on the sidelines, as the team announced on Wednesday night, following a 111-100 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, that he will miss an additional three to four weeks due to right foot inflammation.
LaVine has been absent from the court for the past three games, nursing the foot injury, and the initial plan was to reevaluate his condition later this week. Despite his absence, the Bulls managed to secure their first three-game winning streak of the season.

The talented guard had encountered a sluggish start to the season in his first 18 games, posting averages of 21.0 points on 44% shooting—both figures marking his lowest since joining the Bulls after recovering from ACL surgery in the 2017-18 season. LaVine’s final game before the injury setback saw him contribute just two points in 24 minutes during a lopsided loss to the Boston Celtics, registering his third-lowest point total in a start throughout his career.
