Manchester United won against Manchester City 2-1 at Etihad with 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of the regular time. Amorim defeated Guardiola again this season as he did earlier in the Champions League with Sporting Lisbon.
In the 1st half, both teams counted on being careful, so we didn’t see a lot of goal opportunities. The 1st major moment in the match came in the 14th minute when Mason Mount received a muscular injury and was replaced by Kobbie Mainoo.
🚨 BREAKING!!
Ruben Amorim is the FIRST Manchester United manager since Sir Alex Ferguson to win his first Manchester derby.

Josko Gvardiol scored the only goal in the 1st 45 minutes. Kevin de Bruyne’s cross was touched by a Man United player, and the ball ended perfectly at the head of the Sky Blues defender, who netted to give the home team the lead. Andre Onana can be blamed for the goal as he decided to try to catch the ball at first but then tried to get back on the goal, which cost him the opportunity to save the ball.
The home side had control in the 2nd half, and everyone thought they would win 1-0 until a big mistake in the 88th resulted in a penalty that Bruno Fernandes converted. Only 2 minutes later, Amad Diallo shocked the home fans when he netted again after a phenomenal assist from Lisandro Martinez, which ended up being the winning goal.
