New York Jets’ Aaron Rodgers is determined to make a comeback this season, leaving the possibility open to return in just a few weeks.
Despite tearing his left Achilles tendon in his debut with the Jets on Sept. 11, the four-time NFL MVP has shown an impressive and swift recovery. Following the injury, he spent the first 24 hours in disappointment but quickly shifted his focus to planning his return.

Expressing his commitment, Rodgers stated on Thursday, “From Sept. 12 on, my goal was to come back to the practice field and try to play. Obviously, that was contingent on my health and also our team being in a position to make a run.”
Marking the three-month anniversary of his surgery, Rodgers rejoined practice on Wednesday but took a day in his rehabilitation on Thursday. The Jets now have a 21-day window to activate Rodgers from the injured reserve list, or he will remain sidelined for the remainder of the season.
