Follow usAC Milan captain Davide Calabria has expressed his belief that his teammate Rafael Leão is worthy of winning the “Ballon d’Or” one day. He is confident that the Rossoneri can win the derby against Inter at the end of April, despite trailing by 14 points at the moment.
“It’s still too early to talk about the match against Inter. There are games before that, but we want to win them all so that we don’t repeat the 1-5 loss from the first half of the season. I am confident that we can win this time,” he said in an interview with “Radio Serie A”.
“They have the chance to win their second star in the derby, so that’s one more thing to motivate us to don’t let them get the three points against us”, he added.
“If Rafael Leão harnesses his talent, he can become the number one player in the world. I think he is worthy of the ‘Ballon d’Or’. Physically, with those characteristics, I see great potential in him,” Calabria further shared.
