The Reds' title hopes are now unrealistic after the poor results lately.

West Ham United and Liverpool finished 2-2 at London Stadium, and Klopp’s side would need a miracle to win the Premier League as the Hammers have only 2 defeats in their last 19 home games and they also stopped the Reds.

Liverpool lost the Merseyside derby 2-0 a few days ago and now dropped points again and practically are out of the title race.

The Hammers had the lead after the 1st half as Jarrod Bowen scored the opener in the 43rd minute after Mohammed Kudus’ assist.

However, Liverpool made a comeback in the 2nd half as Andrew Robertson tied the game at the beginning after the 15-minute pause in the 48th minute after Luis Diaz’s assist. The Reds took the lead in the 65th minute when Alphonse Areola scored an own goal.

Klopp’s team failed to keep the lead as Michail Antonio netted in the 77th minute after Jarrod Bowen’s assist to tie the match as only 2 minutes after the equalizer, Mohamed Salah, Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez entered the clash from the bench, but neither were able to help his team to triumph.

West Ham are in 8th place with 49 points after 35 games, while Liverpool are 3rd with 75 points after 35 matches – 1 point behind Man City but the Sky Blues have 2 games in hand and 2 behind leaders Arsenal as the Gunners are with a game in hand.
